With a suitable high speed internet connection OrcaCom can provide Trunk-Lines that support 1 to 500 concurrent call lines. Because these same data connections can also be used for all other internet access requirements, VoIP trunk lines deliver significant business benefits while also typically reducing ongoing telecommunications charges by 50%.
With built-in failover features, OrcaCom trunk-lines can automatically re-route calls if your internet connection (or anything else) fails, proving a more robust disaster recovery plan than traditional phone lines. OrcaCom Trunk-lines features include:
1. Fault Tolerance / Redundancy
If your internet connection ever fails our service can automatically re‐route calls to alternate nominated telephone number(s).
This can be mobile phone numbers to ensure you receive your calls even if mainline cables are cut or during power supply failures.
2. Keep Your Existing Phone Number(s). Never have to change again.
Your existing phone number(s) can be moved to our service ensuring all incoming calls are routed via the internet
and controlled by your new online service. Once your number is with us you can move office to any (global) location
without any implications i.e. you will never have to change your phone number again.
3. Quality national and international outbound call connections with 50% cost savings
All of your outbound calls are routed via the internet to the nearest telephone exchange to your call destination
before being sent onto the public telephone network for delivery to the intended caller. This significantly reduces
the overall cost of call charges, typically by 50%.
